NCFE accredited, Distance Learning Course

A distance learning qualification which focusses on key counselling skills, enabling the leaner to provide support where needed and giving an understanding of various theoretical approaches to counselling, as well as the importance of a counselling relationship in everyday life and work.

Learn at your own pace and gain counselling skills to enable you to engage in helping interactions. You will cover the following units;

  • Using counselling skills
  • Introduction to counselling skills theories
  • Diversity and ethics in the use of counselling skills
  • Counselling skills and personal development

Upon registration, you will be assigned your own assessor, provided with expertly developed course content and Ecordia log in. The course is assessed through written assignments and various exercises intended to test your knowledge and is 120 GLH (guided learning hours)

You will receive an NCFE certificate upon completion.

NCFE accredited, Blended Learning Course

A course composed of classes, tutorials and assessments, face to face and online learning, expertly developed with the National Occupational Standards in Counselling in mind, to help you improve your counselling skills, understand the different approaches involved in the use of counselling skills and help you appreciate the importance of self-development.

Units are designed to develop your existing experience and understanding and will support you in developing counselling skills and knowledge. You will cover;

  • Developing counselling skills
  • Theoretical approaches in the use of counselling skills
  • Working ethically with counselling skills
  • Counselling skills and diversity
  • Counselling skills and personal development

Upon registration, you will be assigned your own assessor, provided with expertly developed course content and Ecordia log in. The course is assessed through classes, tutorials, and assessments intended to test your knowledge and is 270 GLH (guided learning hours)

You will receive an NCFE certificate upon completion.

NCFE Approved, Distance Learning Course

The Level 4 Essential Supervision Skills Certificate will better help you understand the functions of supervision, it’s importance in professional practice, the various benefits and disadvantages of group, peer and management supervision and focus on the surrounding legislation.

Units are designed to develop your knowledge and understanding, whilst enhancing your supervision skills and providing you with a unique qualification. They include in-depth exploration into;

  • Understanding the function of supervision
  • Understanding supervision models and how they might be applied in professional practice
  • Understanding the process of the supervision session
  • Explaining the legislation surrounding confidentiality, recording and storing of information

Upon registration, you will be assigned your own assessor, provided with expertly developed course content and Ecordia log in. The course is assessed through completion of the assignment (5000-6000 words)

You will receive an NCFE certificate upon completion.
