In Person (Maidstone) - Starting Autumn 2026
A safe, supportive space to talk, connect and understand yourself with others
At Therapy Partners, we believe that healing often happens in relationship. While one-to-one therapy can be powerful, group psychotherapy offers something different: the opportunity to explore life’s challenges in a safe, professionally held space alongside others who may be facing similar struggles.
We are currently taking enquiries for our new weekly mixed group psychotherapy programme, which we are planning to launch in autumn 2026. These groups will be open to adults who would like support with emotional wellbeing, relationships, stress, anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, loss, life transitions, loneliness, identity, communication difficulties, or simply feeling stuck.
The groups will be facilitated by experienced therapists and will provide a confidential, respectful and boundaried environment where people can talk, listen, reflect and grow together.
Many people come to therapy feeling isolated in what they are experiencing. Group psychotherapy can help reduce that sense of isolation by creating a space where people can be heard, understood and supported by others. In a therapeutic group, you do not have to perform, fix others, or have all the answers. You can come as you are.
Group therapy can help you:
For many people, group psychotherapy becomes a place of connection, perspective and steady change.
Our autumn groups will be mixed adult therapy groups, welcoming people of all genders and backgrounds. They may be helpful if you are experiencing:
You do not need to be in crisis to join a group. Many people attend group therapy because they want to understand themselves better, improve relationships, and feel more connected to others.
Each group will meet weekly and will be facilitated by a qualified therapist. The group will offer a confidential space to talk about what is happening in your life, how you relate to others, and the emotional patterns that may be affecting your wellbeing. There will be no pressure to share more than feels manageable. Some people speak early on; others take time to settle and listen before contributing. Both are welcome. The therapist’s role is to help hold the group safely, support reflection, and ensure the space remains respectful, inclusive and therapeutic.
Therapy Partners previously supported the development of Men2, a men’s mental health support group created to give men a safe space to talk openly about life’s challenges, including mental health, relationships, drinking, stress and everyday struggles. Men2 became an important source of connection, peer support and hope for many men. We remain proud of that legacy and grateful to everyone who helped shape it. The spirit of Men2 continues through Mentell, a UK charity offering safe and confidential men-only circles for men aged 18+ to talk, listen and connect without judgement.
If you are specifically looking for a men-only peer support group, we warmly encourage you to visit Mentell and explore the support they offer.
While Men2 focused on men’s peer support, our new Therapy Partners groups will offer something different. From autumn 2026, we are looking to provide professionally facilitated mixed group psychotherapy for adults who want a deeper therapeutic space to explore emotional wellbeing, relationships and personal growth. These groups will be suitable for people who may benefit from the combination of professional therapeutic support and the shared experience of being with others.
We are now taking enquiries from people who may be interested in joining a weekly group psychotherapy programme from autumn 2026. Before joining a group, we will usually offer an initial assessment or consultation. This helps us understand what you are looking for, whether group therapy is likely to be the right fit, and which type of support may be most helpful. To register your interest, please contact Therapy Partners and a member of our team will be in touch.
